Don’t be disappointed if you don’t see the usual names and pictures that are associated with this kind of posts.
Nollywood now has new acts and talents like Bryan Okwara, Joseph Benjamin and Uti Nwachukwu as some of the most handsome actors in the industry.
Faces like Mike Ezuruonye, Jim Iyke, Chidi Mokeme, Saint Obi, RMD, Pat Attah and the host of other sexy actors that graced our screens in the time past are not included here.
There is a saying that nothing lasts forever and I dare say that their time is almost, if not already past. There are new kids in the block that are topping all charts at the moment.
Note that this list does not rate them in a particular progression according to the most handsome (as “handsomeness” is in the eyes of the beholder).
Again it is not about wealth or asset. It is just a random selection of the trending guys the movie industry at the moment. So relax as we bring to you our 12 most handsome actors among the bunch.
Uti Nwachukwu
The one-time banker, who hails from Agbor in Delta state Southern Nigeria, is a graduate of Computer Science and Education from Benson Idahosa University, Benin City.
The 33-year old’s journey to stardom in the entertainment industry began with his appearance on the reality TV show “Next Movie Star” where he finished as first runner-up.
He moved on to become part of the Nigerian representatives in the African TV reality show, Big Brother Africa 3 in 2008.
Although he was evicted on day 42, he came back to the 5th edition in 2010 which he eventually won.
The multi-talented Nollywood actor is also a singer. He released his first single titled “Go down” in 2010.

He gives more than just sexy looks and poise. He gives superb acting, especially in romantic roles which has translated in his featuring in over 40 Nollywood movies.

He won the African Actor of the Year award at the 2012 African Film Awards for his role in some award-winning movies which include Mr. and Mrs, Tango With Me, Murder at Prime Suites, etc.
Ramsey Nouah
Perhaps this guy is not supposed to be on this list, but this half-caste has refused to retire.
Screen lover boy, Ramsey Nouah has perfected the art of re-inventing himself and showing he can still be a force to be reckoned with whenever this kind of list is being complied anywhere.
He may be bald but he has still got those looks, mannerisms and style that wowed us in the past. So he stays on the list.
Blossom Chukwujekwu
Blossom Chukwujekwu is not as new as most of us may suppose. He has been around the corridors of the movie industry since 2009 when he landed the lead role in the yet to be released Nigeria soap opera “Portrait Of Passion”.
In 2012, he was profiled on African Magic’s Nollywood show, Jara, as one of the top 5 actors to watch out for in 2013.
Quite gynandromorphic in nature, Blossom has something of a feminine face, combined with a heavy masculine build which makes him a worthy candidate for this list.
He won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards this year (2015).
Michael Godson
Michael Godson Ifeanyichukwu, who shares certain similarities with Mike Ezuruonye and is also known in some circles as “Mr. Ini Edo,” hails from Imo state and has been on the entertainment scenes since 2010.
The tag, “Mr. Ini Edo” came as a result of rumors of a sizzling romance between himself and the Akwa Ibom born super star actress, Ini Edo, although both of them have continually debunked the rumors.
Desmond Elliot
Desmond Elliot is a man who knows what he wants and goes all out to get it. The actor cum gospel singer cum politician is equally the man of the moment.
Having won his election into the Lagos State House of Assembly in the April 11 general elections in the country, one would think he would be preoccupied with matters of the state but that is not for Desmond because as they say, you can wash a pig as clean as you can but that wont stop it from plunging into the next gutter.
He is not a pig, but like the proverbial pig, Desmond Elliot’s glide and style comes from within – politics or not. He is still ever-present in the entertainment circles, where his teeming fans can still catch a glimpse of him. For all its worth, looking good is still good business.
Yul Edochie
This list will be almost entirely useless if this name is not on it. Yul Daniel Edochie is the youngest child of veteran actor Pete Edochie.
He is charmingly sexy and remains every woman’s dream (men may not be excluded), little wonder why he got married at the young age of 22.
Since his big debut in 2005 with the movie titled “The Exquires” where he featured alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa, he has gone on to feature in over 200 Nollywood flicks.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is a lawyer by profession and also an OAP who hails from Anambra state in eastern Nigeria.
His rise to fame cannot be detached from his participation in the first and only ever season of the popular reality show Big Brother Nigeria. Since then, he has not looked back. He has bagged several endorsement deals with several Nigerian companies and also featured in several shows.
To his credit, he hosted the first ever presidential debate focused on youth issues in the run up to the 2011 general elections in Nigeria, and it was broadcast live across the country.
His stock is rising in the entertainment industry, little wonder there was so much fuss when he got engaged to his heartthrob, Cynthia Obianodo on April 15th, 2015 in Lagos.
Van Vicker
Born to a Ghanaian-Liberian mother and a Dutch father, Joseph van Vicker exploded into the Nollywood like dynamite taking over the romantic roles previously reserved for the likes Ramsey Nouah, Pat Attah, Desmond Elliot, Mike Ezuruonye, etc.
He is a fans’ favourite, especially the females, but like they always are, he is taken (sorry…). Van Vicker is happily married with two girls and a boy.
I wouldn’t know how his wife is able to handle him alone because he glows and radiates both on and off the screen.
Okay, like I mentioned earlier, beauty… sorry, handsomeness is in the eyes of the beholder. I know that so many will not agree with these ones chosen.
Anyway, you are free to add up who you think should be on this list. Note that the person should be in the present and not in the past.

Majid Michel
It all started for Shaker with an audition for a modelling agency and that is how he entered professional acting to become one of Ghana’s finest exports to the Nigerian movie industry.
He has more or less made business for the likes of Ramsey Nouah and Mike Ezuruonye very rough in terms of roles on the big screen. He gives more than just sexy looks and poise. He gives superb acting, especially in romantic roles which has translated in his featuring in over 40 Nollywood movies.
He won the African Movie Academy Awards in 2012 after three previous consecutive nominations.
Bryan Okwara
Bryan Ikenna Okwara is a former Mr. Nigeria and a Nollywood actor. He won the title of Mr. Nigeria in 2007 and reached the semi-finals in the Mr World pageant in the same year.
Although he is relatively new on the scene, he is sexy and well-built. He is also rumored to be in a relationship with divorcee mother-of-one, Juliet Ibrahim, a rumor both of them have continuously denied.
But even if it is true in reality, who would blame Juliet for saying yes after looking at this guy?Joseph Benjamin
This MTN Project Fame co-host, Joseph Benjamin is a multi-talented Nollywood actor. He is also a model and television presenter.
He won the African Actor of the Year award at the 2012 African Film Awards for his role in some award-winning movies which include Mr. and Mrs, Tango With Me, Murder at Prime Suites, etc.
The tall, dark and handsome actor is presently separated from his
wife but is blessed with a girl and a boy, aged ten and eight
respectively.
He is not entirely a new face to the screen business. He made his
debut appearance on screen in the popular TV program ‘Tales by
Moonlight’ where he acted as a homeless child but his first movie
appearance was ‘Crossroads’ 1993.Ramsey Nouah
