Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the extremist group,taunted the girls relatives in a video released friday night.
"if you knew the state your daughters are in today, it might lead some of you to die from grief" Shekau said.
The release of the video appears to have dashed the hopes of families who were encourage just weeks ago by news of a ceasefire agreement between the Government and the Islamist militants,The agreement was supposed to lead to the release of more than 200 girls taken Hostage from Chibok, a town in northeastern Nigeria.
But the days continue to pass and the girls who were no closer to coming home, now Shekau denies in the video that he never agreed to a truce to end 5 year insurgency that has left thousands dead and other forced to flee.
